Finkelkraut, Alain
(b. 1949)
   French philosopher. His parents survived the Holocaust, and he studied in Paris. In Le Juif imaginaire he deals with the question how the Holocaust deformed his Jewish identity. His other works include Reflexions sur la question juive, Anti-Semite and Jew, L'Avenir d'une negation and La Defaite de la pensie.
